SAUSAGE BALLS

I know it's a bit late to post the recipe for sausage balls as this is Christmas Night, but these can be enjoyed througout the year anytime.

Ingredients

2 -  16oz. Packages of Jimmy Dean- Regular Sausage
3 -  cups shredded mild cheddar cheese
1 1/2 cup bisquick
1 1/2 tsp. black pepper

Preheat oven to 375

Mix and mash ingredients together well with hands making sure that all bisquick is absorbed.  Roll into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheet.  Bake for 18-20 minutes*.

*as ovens vary, keep an eye on them after 15 minutes as you do not want them to overcook.

Place two paper towels on plate and place sausage balls on top.

Serve and enjoy!  I'll upload pics of the one's I made soon!

HEALTH SOUP

I post this recipe as it was a suggestion from my dad.  I haven't been I'll besides a few sniffles in over 15 - 20 years (knock on wood.)  My dad and I were discussing ways to stay healthy and I brought up my soup. I have been eating this soup for many many years and I appreciate it's health qualities, but it's a very spicy soup and it's not for everyone.  I feel that all of you can eat this soup, just simply use a quantity of the ingredients that you can handle.

Ingredients.

Water
Whole Garlic 9 -10
Chopped Onions (Dry) 1 - 2 Tblsp.
Malabar Black Pepper
White Pepper
Cayenne Pepper
Three Thai Peppers
Fresh Ginger Slices
Parsley Flakes
Knorr Chicken Boullion (powder not cubes.)

Pour the desired amount of water for the soup in a saucepan and turn heat on high.  Add all indgredients and boil for 10 minutes.  Add water as needed as it may become to salty.  I eat this soup every two to three days.  I hope you all enjoy!

WHOLE ROASTED TILAPIA

Ingredients:

Two whole Tilapia
Olive Oil
Rosemary
Sliced Lemon
Minced Garlic
Malabar Black Pepper (Coast of India)
Lawrys Seasoning Salt

Wash and rinse whole fish including cavity.  Place fish on roasting tray and brush olive oil on the entire fish including the cavity.   Insert malabar black pepper, Lawrys seasoning salt, rosemary, sliced lemon, and minced garlic into cavity.  Salt and Pepper outside of fish.  Depending on the fish, baking time varies.  For a one pound fish, cooking time should be 15 minutes at 450 degrees.  You can take a fork and check the spine area to make sure the meat is cooked.

Enjoy!!

Excited!

Unlike others that would be discouraged, I'm actually excited. I'm glad to know that what I am posting isn't drawing any attention.  The point is that I know so that I can do something to change that!   I knew that if I posted a wrong spelling of Wassail....then maybe I would get some feedback.  Well....I didn't but that's great.  Many do not even know what that is to know the correct spelling.  Anyhow....I'll post the recipe for "Wassail" as soon as I decide on some "flare!"
